Joesef Karim is a graduate of Tourism Management and has an MBA with specialisation in Marketing. Mr. Karim is an Africa tourism specialist and a travel business consultant. He has been a leading Nigeria tourism stakeholder for over two decades, and is on the Board of some travel and tourism companies in Nigeria including Destination Marketing Extra Ltd and Maximini Tours Ltd.
Joesef Karim has created, and owns, several leading travel & tourism trademarks including Holiday Nigeria™, Nigeria Travel Digest™  and Afro Tourism Expo™. Joesef is also a certified advertising practitioner (APCON) in Nigeria, whose specialty include brand strategy conceptualization, tourism communication planning, product advert scripting, copy writing, and media buying management. 
In April 2013, Joesef authored a book: Travel & Tour Operations in Nigeria. The book has since been adopted as a training material by some tourism departments in Polytechnics and Universities across Nigeria. Additionally, every quarter, Joesef provides hands-on trainings on 'Tour Packaging & Sales Strategy' for travel agencies in Nigeria. 

Mr. Joesef Karim is the founder of Afro Tourism Expo™ - an Africa-oriented travel and tourism exhibition and conferece event with the objective of tourism development advocacy in Nigeria. The event started in 2014 and was immediately listed among the UNWTO calendar of international tourism events.
Presently, Joesef is the Public Relations Officer of the Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria (FTAN) - the umbrella body of the organized private sector in Nigeria's tourism and hospitality industry. He is the publisher and editor-in-chief of Nigeria Travel Digest - one of the leading an online magazine in Nigeria that started in September 2012.
