21 Years of Leadership in Nigeria's Tourism
The Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria (FTAN) is the Umbrella body that represents all the private sector in the Tourism and related industry in Nigeria. The Association was established in 1997 by the then Federal Ministry of Commerce and Tourism to facilitate liaison between Government agencies and the organized private sector in Nigeria's Tourism industry.

The leadership of FTAN recently had a meeting Senator Rochas Okorocha, the Chairman Nigerian Senate Committee on Culture & Tourism. The meeting was held at the National Assembly in Abuja Nigeria.
We Facilitate Tourism Industry Development in Nigeria
As the umbrella body for Nigeria's organized private sector operators in Tourism, the Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigeria (FTAN) has since its inception 21 years ago has actively supported investment tools that facilitate tourist infrastructure and destination promotion policies. Recently, FTAN setup a new Department of Research & Advocacy at her corporate headquarters in Abuja, and has since been partnering with national and international research and statistical agencies.
In partnership with relevant tourism trade associations, FTAN occassionally conduct travelers' and tourists' surveys towards improving tourist service, product and destination experiences.
FTAN's mandate is to promote domestic and inbound tourism. Accordingly, FTAN periodically carry out tourist destination market research to unravel new trends and tourist patterns.
The Federation's membership include tourism professionals and renown experts. We provide consultancy services for investors, government agencies and interested parties.
Lead FTAN Executive Team
The Federation of Tourism Associations of Nigheria (FTAN) is led by a 14-member Executive Board, led by the National President.
The Executive members are elected from the 23 member associations, and they serve for 2 years, or a maximum of 4 years per position.
