Founded in 1996 and chartered in 1997.The Dance Guild of Nigeria (GOND) is an affiliate and one of the vital organs of the National Association of Nigeria Theatre Arts Practitioners (NANTAP). The regular body of theatre practice in Nigeria. Indeed the GOND has been in the practice in the last thirteen (13) years primed herself in the effort at calling attention to the practice and functionality of the Dance genre and the positioning of Dance as a veritable tool for the socio-political development of the Nigeria State. The Guild is head quartered in Lagos but 15 existing State Chapters.
